The mission of the Williamsburg County School District is to provide education and support to parents by providing them with information, skills and principles to assist their children in thriving personally, socially and academically.
Ongoing research shows that family engagement in schools improves student achievement, reduces absenteeism, and restores parents' confidence in their children's education. Students with involved parents or other caregivers earn higher grades and test scores, have better social skills, and show improved behavior. Family is the single most important influence in a child's life.
