On January 11th, 2024, the staff at P.O.W.E.R. U.P. Academy held their first "Transition Celebration" for the following students:
Eddie Green, 4th grade
Nyasia Palmer, 5th grade
Jabril Wilson, 5th grade
These students successfully completed their SEL intervention program that had them focus on the 5 competencies which are: Self-Awareness, Self-Management, Social-Awareness, Relationship Skills, and Responsible Decision-Making.
