KSHS HAS RAPID IMPROVEMENT IN SAT

Kingstree Senior High School received the Magna Cum Laude of Achievement for "Rapid Improvement on the SAT Test in the 2011-2012 school year." Marguerite Singleton-Joe, Guidance Counselor at Kingstree Senior High School, shared that her students realize that high SAT/ACT scores lead to acceptance in the university or college of their choice with scholarship funds to cover expenses. Singleton-Joe also encourages students to begin preparing for standardized assessments early in their high school career.  Mr. Frazier, Principal of KSHS, accepted the award.

Kingstree Senior High was a recipient of the Palmetto Gold and Silver Awards for the 2012-2013 school year.  (KSHS won the Silver Award).  This award gives recognition to schools for high levels of academic achievement and high rates of improvement.
