Kingstree Middle School's Philosophy
The philosophy of Kingstree Middle School is to provide an effective educational environment appropriate for the unique needs, interests, and abilities of the early adolescent, utilizing innovative strategies, standards-based programs and integrative technology.
We recognize that it is our responsibility to coordinate school and community services and to provide students the opportunity to develop to their fullest potential in order that they may become productive members of society.
It is our duty to inspire students to become active participants in the democratic life of our nation by providing them with the knowledge and skills that every citizen needs.
We further recognize that each student is unique and should be given the opportunity to develop at an individual rate with our continued guidance.
It is our aim to teach, motivate, stimulate, and challenge our students, to help them realize that learning never ends, to promote the belief that education is a life-long quest, and to encourage them to continue learning throughout the years.
In our efforts to meet the needs of our students, we strive to maintain a motivated and professional staff that will furnish each student with the tools necessary to succeed in today's world. The faculty and the staff of Kingstree Middle School, ever abreast of current educational trends, strive to prepare all students for success.
"Students are respectful, responsible, productive and intelligent!"
